Need some help on sick mini

Yesterday I call my 4-H kid and there 2 yr old mini is sick. He is bloated with low grade fever. They call vet and the mini is put on antiobiotics SMZ and Penecillin. They also tubed mini and nothing came up no gas or anything. Today mini is not much better and not eating. Also had a snotty nose.

Is there any pasture coming up, maybe some poisonous weeds he ate? This time of year they seem to think that ANYTHING that's growing is edible.

If he isn't feeling better, it would be best to have the vet out again and run some tests, IMO. Tell them good luck with him, hope he recovers quickly.

Is the horse pooping normal?

And did the vet draw blood?

Yes, draw blood.......Sounds like the horse ate something toxic.
