I finally installed my Dog door. I only had it sitting in the box for a year. Brandy (the GP mix) learned to use it right away. She really likes it because she doesn't have to wait to be let out. Only one of the cats has learned to use the door. It is clear so they think it is a window. Last night Lady (one of my best mousers) came to the door and meowed to get in. I looked but didn't get up. A couple of mins later she meowed again. Brandy got up. Went to the door. Pushed the flap out to let the cat in and then went back and laied down at the end of the futon. I have had smart dogs before but Brandy really takes all the awards in my book for being smart.

Wow! Smart dog!

Does she give lessons? My dogs could use a few pointers.

Before we moved, we had a doggie door and i LOVED it (and the dogs did, too). Once we get the yard fenced in a bit (for the dogs), we plan to install another doggie door...life is so much easier...LOL! (I only wish they knew how to wipe their feet when they come in...lmao!)

When brandy does things we just shake our heads because she does things you would not expect.

LOL right. I think the cat is smart too lol! I grew up with a dog that smart. Makes you wonder. Did you ever have your mares foal Katiean? I never saw anything posted.

No foals. I guess they all slipped them or the vet didn't know what they were doing with the US. I never found anything in the pasture. Good thing I really didn't need any foals in with what they are going for these days.
