There is a wonderful person on this board that had this made for her Dad for Christmas. Took me a while, but happy she likes it! Hope he does too!

Thanks for sharing!

You are just amazing! After Christmas, I'm going to save up for you to paint a special picture of two cats for me. They are orange tabby brothers, and are our "heart cats". We lost one of them at two years old to a urinary blockage. He was at my Vets for 11 days. I had someone else do them a couple of years ago, but I'm truly dissapointed. It's nothing like your work. You are truly amazing!!!

Kim...you are the wonderful one.....

For a little background on this painting........ this is my Dad's dog Roo....and she is a one man dog....Dad thinks that she might be my Mother reincarnated because she "stares" at him a lot...haha. Anyway, this is Roo in front of my Mom's memory garden we planted for her....and the Robin is signficant because my Mom's maiden name was Robinson and not only that but we had "Robin's" show up very unexpectedly after Mom passed.... in fact my Dad was throwing away some old Christmas items and muttered under his breath "if you knew I was doing this right now you would give me *ell"....and at that same moment a robin came down and whacked him in the head & flew off.....now if that is not a sign, I don't know what is.....

Kim as always you do outstanding work and I now just have to work on getting a great picture of Izzy for you to paint for me.

Hugs my friend, I know my Dad is going to love this!!!

You captured Roo's eyes and demeanor perfectly!!! Oh and I forgot to add...we, ok, I call her Rude because she is such a one person dog...haha....

Thanks for sharing. Your work is amazing. Love it!

Lovely...your Dad is going to love it!

Kim does such a wonderful job of capturing the eyes...my painting of Brutus she did is awesome all around, but the eyes....wow...I feel like I'm looking at the real thing when I look at the painting of Brutus.

I have two other dogs that I'd like Kim to paint someday, when I get the extra money.

That is absolutely amazingly Beautiful!!! I cannot get over how your paintings come so close to the real thing. Yep...I think he will be very pleased!

Thank you everybody! You all have been more that supportive and way too kind with you nice comments. There is nothing cooler than making someone happy with something I have made.

Valerie can't wait to hear how he likes it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!!

Yes, Dad got the painting and cannot stop talking about it!!! He LOVES it.....luckily I framed it and brought a hanging kit with me, so right after he opened it, he goes, ok, where should I put it?.........they decided on the wall next to one of the Bev Doolittle's.......and so now he can see it from his recliner....he goes, look she is watching me...... My sister said yesterday that every person that calls gets to hear, hey do you know what Valerie got me?....and then he goes on about the painting.......

Kim, I also have to get your home address for Dad, because he wants to send you a "thank you"......which is a huge deal because he doesn't send cards, so please know in your heart, he absolutely LOVES the painting.

A couple of family thought it was a photo and I said, no my friend Kim painted it...........so it was unanimous and everyone thought it was wonderful.

I did take a picture of it hanging up, but I have to send it from my camera to yours or to my computer.....once I figure that all out then I can post how it looked framed!!

As always you do a remarkable job and I know that he will treasure this gift the rest of his life!!!

Hugs my friend!

Valerie
