Edited to add: Oh Dah! I didn't read your original post right..I'm so sorry....but, I do think it is possible for horses to have red and black both dominate...I think that is what brindle is...and that horse that is red and black pinto...now THAT is a horse of a different color! LOL!

She is heterozygous (meaning she can pass the gene on,but dosent have to and she has just 1 gene as homozygous has two of that gene) it would be possible to be homozygous for both! so she can have red based foals, and she can have black based! Thanks for you kind words on her

VernB, HOW COOL IS THAT! I think I do remember him, but I only remember him through when he was forsale! I wanted to buy him at one time. But yep, this is his lil sister! How COOL is that! Their moma is soooooooooooooooo soooooooo sweet, and if I had the choice I would buy her with Critique, cause Lace is soooooooo sooooo sweet! one of the sweetest horses I have ever met!

She will be weaned at the beginnings of July, she is just a 4 weeks old (I think...) so I still got a little while... its gonna be a long summer for me!
