Took a little time before the rain hit today, to snap a few pictures of Streaker ( Erica's Streakn' For Bucks) - Little Kings Big City Bucks (Buckeroo son and Ramblin Starbuck grandson) x MCC Feathers Silver Streak (a Yellow Diamond Little Feather daughter and Egyptian King grandaughter) now that he is almost 7 months old.
Wanted to get a few pictures before he started growing his hair out again; he went to AMHR Nationals this past week and went Top Ten in those HUGE weanling classes (some of them upwards of 80+ horses). He lost a little weight on the trip, but he done so well, as I don't work my babies, he was just pulled out of the weanling pasture the week before Nationals, not been sweated or worked. He went out there and stood so good, did mom proud.
He is 28" at 7 months, I expect him about 32 maybe even smaller (as my babies grow fast) and his color is a weird one, I would say he is changing to some form of smutty buckskin - or buckskin roan.
If you remember he looked like this at just two days old - looked very much like a bay
And this is him now......
I am VERY pleased with Big City's first foal crop, he is producing such Long, clean necks, pretty heads, good hips and tight bodies.....and they have movement too!
I also took Prankster (Erica's Big City Prankster Bucks) who took a National Top 5 placing........but I think the photographer got a really nice picture of him, he showed SO GOOD, so I didn't get around to snapping any of them today
