New Stallion and Questions

I have a new stallion here is a picture of him and his description. I am looking for his extended pedigree. I also have a color question because his mane and tail are definetely snow white, can he possibly be a chocolate palomino? Here is his description from my web site with his two names. Definitely could be palomino depending on what the sire and dam were. I would just pull hair and test for cream

His color is a tricky one.

For $25 each test, you can test for various color factors to know FOR SURE instead of just guessing.

I'd test for the cream gene... it would tell you if he's a true palomino, or if he's a silverbay/chestnut. He has a 50% chance of being a palomino, with his sire being a buckskin, but best to test to know 100% for sure.

There are many labs that do this testing.

I 2nd that that he looks like a silver bay to me also! I have one here that is registered Sorrel the "exact" same color.....but you can deffineately tell with this guy he's a silver bay.....

Looks like he is silver bay, but silver bay usually has dark roots to the mane and tail hair. I also would test for cream.

I agree, but he may also just be sorrel, I have a dark sorrel mare just like him, and she doesn't carry creame.
