Im hoping that I get some advice on the tack I need to start my mare.

Im in Ontario and have no idea where to start looking for mini tack!!!

Im in the Ottawa area!!

Ill check out american driving society. Not too much mini sized stuff too close!!

Patty's Pony Place is also in Canada (North of Edmonton) and they have some things to get started with.

There is a very active mini club in Ottawa. They even have a great precision driving club! . I think the name is eastern Ontario miniature horse club

I have found greenhawk to have some good mini starter stuff.. I am near TORONTO and am also looking.. I will keep you posted if I find anything

You could probably contact local boarding places/mini breeders and ask if they have any equipment for sale!

Welcome to the start of your new adventure in the world of mini driving.

Just something to add as I have seen this happen many times before: Please make sure that the harness your buying weather it has a tree in the harness saddle or is a tree-less harness saddle that it has a gap along the spine to releave pressure off of it. Many of the cheap knock off made mini harnesses(and larger ones) are made without this gap and it creates sores on their backs and along their spines when you get to the point where you hitch them to a cart. You can find harnesses for the same price, maybe a little more, that provide this gap.

I wish you luck on your adventures!
