Sounds like the man is running a business, but also trying to ease you out fairly at the same time. I'm sure he's perfectly aware that if you quit, you'd lose the unemployment.

I'm sure that things will fall into place for you in your search for a job at your new location. I'd be puting feelers out soon......as you probably know, it's always easier and best to find a new job before you are unemployed. (Don't forget to get a written reference from your boss!)

Sounds trying.....lucky you on the bonus.....I am having job issues myself.....I like my company HATE the commute.....company is having major growing pains...and I am feeling VERY unappreciated...yet I have been with this company longer than any current employee/owner except the original owner...he took on partners a little over a year ago.........I am at the point of thinking working at mcdonalds in my home town would be less stress....................

He sounds like he is trying to ease you out without it being a huge to do ....good luck with all of it......change stinks
