Okay...whos going?

The NWMHC Schooling Show is just a couple months aways. Who is planning on attending? What horses are you taking?

I'm thinking my 2008 colt, Rebel, will make his debut...

That is WAAAAY too far away to be thinking about yet.

I don't even know if I'm going to have a trailer by then! Sorry.

Erin,

I'm going to be there. It's practically just across the highway from me and I am thrilled to have such a short trip this time!

I think I'll bring little Charm over and see what we can learn together. I'n new to showing and she's.....well she's just new to everything! She's not flashy but has the attitude.

This is one of our favorite shows of the whole year, so unless it snows like last year, we'll be there with at least one horse, hopefully two...

Woodwinds' Mingus

We have no plans to repeat the llama cut (or buzzard cut, as Daryl [bigDogs_LittleHorses] called it), but if this abnormal winter hangs on, who knows...

He'll be in halter and liberty for sure, and jumping (if Keith is willing to risk falling on his face). I'd love to do versatility, but we only have an EE cart at this point...I'd also have to make certain there weren't very many in the class or have Keith handle him, due to my lousy vision.

Cherry Hills Scarlet Ribbons

I think that if I start now I can get Scarlet cleaned up in time...but then, Erin and Rebel may be joining us in the Scappoose car wash dog bathing room. If so, we'll have to get photos! (I need current photos of her anyway -- she's grown up since this yearling photo)

She, too, will do halter and liberty...like Mingus, she has her own music -- Full-Tilt Boogie -- written specifically for her by Keith. Of course, we have no idea if she'll put on a show or want to cuddle with mom...

Susanne,

I've got ALOT more white to keep clean than you

I'm so not looking forward to it. Rebel is a little piggy like his daddy. Its insane to see how much they are alike. Definately his fathers son.

I'd like to get Rebel up to Crystals a couple weeks before hand to clip and bathe. Of course, thats if she even has room. With half the lower barn caved in and out of comission, there aren't many extra stalls.

I would really like to see you get Scarlette there. Shay will be joining us and I'm sure would be willing to take her into the ring.

I would love to take Theia this year but unless DH can find another job soon.... will miss this one too.

However... I expect photos from everyone that does go!

Shari,

If you can find a way to spare a little extra money, you should come. Its the cheapest show around and is fun. Very laid back and enjoyable. At least come to visit.

It'll be a no for me, Aarakis isn't ready... Sea-Tac will be her debut!

Wish we could be there again, but Sharon and I will be in Scottsdale at the Touch of Class show that weekend. All that can should go - Roger Eitel is the judge and Kate Sherry (the show coordinator) is also putting on a Halter Obstacle Challenge at the show. Fliers will be out soon! Good luck and have fun to all that make it there.

I'm considering going also. For fun and giggles I am considering on bringing the old dog out and show him. It might go better this time for me. Do they have an old stallion class? He is 17yo this year and I think he looks darn good.
