I had a colt born last year. The first photo is the day he was born. I thought " Pretty colt, wish he had more neck"! I loved everything about him, just thought his neck could be longer. Which is part of the reason I bought an 07 Big City colt from Erica, they have neck!!

Now that brings us to this year. He is being shown by Toys Miniatures in MN. They sent me a photo of him, now mind you this is just a barn shot. My first thought was "Well, I guess I got my wish.....lol.

Would you have thought by the first photo that he would have that much neck as a yearling? He is 32"right now so I hope he doesn't grow anymore this year.....lol.

Makes me have hope for a colt born Friday where I said, "Pretty colt, wish he had more neck"..............

Tami, your colt looks great! :aktion033: Who's the sire?

Looking forward to seeing your colt shown by Toys Miniatures......they are at most of the shows around my area of IA/MN.

Russ, you will probably get to see him at a show before I do....lol. His sire is Samis Soap Suds and his dam is Hunt House Farms Superstar a Skip A Star daughter. She always gives me pretty babies.

Tami, I'll be sure to look for him.

It can just be so hard to tell (at least for me) when they are so "fluffy"! Your home boy looks awesome and then so does your new CT

Here's a picture of Erica's Gone and DunIT when he was exactly 4wks old. I knew from previous pictures (and Erica's description of him) that he has a wonderfully long neck, but you would not ever know it from the first picture below... then see one of him last summer and you can tell he's got a swan neck.

: He is so cool!!! I know I thank my lucky stars every day over his big brother, Destiny :bgrin :bgrin :bgrin To be fair to DunIT, this is a picture taken about two weeks before his stub necked photo and you can see there he wasn't quite so "bad" (yeah, I just force my self to look at that little turkey every day

: ) I hope one day I will learn to use my own eyes to "see" what's under a thick foal coat, but so far, I cannot.
