I slept with the dogs last night, nothing wrong with that, right? Let me explain, two years ago our central air died, so since we couldn't afford to have it repaired we installed three window units, one in the living room, one in the guest room, just in case of company, and one in our room. Well yesterday the temperator hit 102 degrees. So I got up yesterday and truned on all the air conditioners and shut all the windows. Wouldn't you know the one in the living room only would act like a fan, no cool air, and the one in the guest room same thing. The only one that was working properly was the one in our bed room, so I shut the door, thinking at least we'll be cool when we go to bed, and hubby will fix things when he gets home from work. Well he can't fix things, duh! I have three dogs, a fourteen year old jack russell that always sleeps with us, if fact I can't sleep without him and he even goes to all my horse shows or I can't sleep, my cuddly wuddly. We also have two english bulldogs that can't breath in the heat, but they don't sleep with us, they usually sleep in the family room, that is when the air works. since It didn't work last night we decided to take all the dogs into our room. It was an experience! Every time one of the bulldogs would touch the jack he would growl, then I had to have my face washed almost hourly. If you know bullies they snore, not to mention pass a lot of gas! Well now that a new day has dawned I'm sure hubby will either repair or replace the aircondioners cause I don't think he wants to go through that again. Just thought I'd give you guys a good laugh on me!

If you have to do this another night,be sure to make a video. It is so funny-you just might make money if you send it to America's Funniest Videos.$10,000 will by lots of horse feed.

Hay that's a good thought! Only trouble is no smell a vision! That was the worse thing ever!

It was a right good laugh! I have three dogs, two can't get near me without one growling, one other one has such bad breath that I almost pass out and that's the one that wants to sleep under my chin! Another one has fits if I burp, and comes over to me whining, but the other one jumps up and growls at her.

I had a great mental visual of you and those panting, gassing bullies! LOL! And oh my... I HOPE you get those units fixed!

Sounds like every night for us...

Keith and I share our antique full size bed with our two dogs and two cats.

Shadow, our 16 yr old toy poodle, snores loudly, and when he has to get off the bed, he can't get back up, but cries if I don't lift him up.

Billie Holliday, our Maltese, burrows under the covers in winter and sleeps on my pillow in summer.

Willoughby, the love cat, sleeps on my shoulder or in my arms, patting my face if he thinks I've forgotten him.

Santana, our great grey predator, loves to cuddle with everyone, but apparently dreams of catching mice, as he ends up clawing his "prey" in his sleep. Needless to say, nobody wants to snuggle with him!

Fortunately, Keith and I sleep like logs and go back to sleep easily when we are woken.

LOL!! Thanks for the laugh - I can just imagine the scene, mind you it sounds pretty familiar to those of us who enjoy sharing our sleep time with our furry friends.!
