The people on my model horse forum were going nuts wondering about the genetics of this mare. I told them if anyone knew it would be you guys!

She's the one on the bottom right with the reverse apron face and blue eyes.

I'm with Lauralee.......Tobi & Splash. She does "appear" to have somewhat of the idea ofwanting to have a medicine hat. Hard to say with that but, could have a third thing going on.

Gotta say, it's one of the more unique displays of the "solid tobi face" that I've seen....in combo with the rest.

: It isn't so different looking in the winter pic as the angle makes you think a tobi, but in the shed out one it is really just what you say "reversed apron". I think she needs to be at my house!

I am not sure of the pattern, BUT, if I remember correctly, I think they call that badger markings?? I remember a black pinto mini stallion that was marked that way also. VERY unique!!

Tobiano + Splash. I cannot even see Sabino. I would however test for LWO just in case.

It is a "badger face " but not a typical one. I have heard this used in Sabino Clyde's and Appies but not on a completely solid head like this.

I would guess to say maximum expression tobiano. The splash pattern in paints is fairly unusual.
