Does anyone who is familar with MS word or excel or generally the MS office program, know how to create a number line using this program or can someone direct me to a link that shows you how to do it? I'm trying to do it for a project and am running into a brick wall as to how to do it on your computer, i'm half tempted to just write it by hand and scan it in, but I know there's got to be a way to do it on the computer, I just can't find it.

Sorry, I was SO frustrated when I wrote that, lol. I worked all last night and most of this morning trying to figure it out with no luck, finally said to heck with it, and went and trimmed some mini feet. LOL

I am taking online college classes and this class if college algebra. We are having to graph inequalities such as x>5, on a number line, and I've been blessed this block with an insturctor that doesn't check his classes but once a week, so am not getting the feedback I need on my questions from him.

Here's an example of what I need to create.

I know it's got to be easy to do on a computer or we woudln't of been asked to do it, as all of our assignments are supposed to be done on the computer.

I've got Microsoft Office Student Edition on my computer which is WIndows XP.

Teresa,

I have MS office: Word, Publisher and ExCel. I haven't tried to do a number line, but I'll play around for a little bit and see if I can figure it out and then come back and post, if I can figure anything out (well, I'll if I don't figure it out, but that won't be as helpful).
