Tabitha is family, even though it didn't become official, it would have.

I love her company probaby more than anyone elses. Her heart is so big.

We take great care of this girl as you can imagine. I know that is what Michael would want of us.

So Tabby was over at the crack of dawn to help us put up more lights and she wanted to be the one to decorate Michael's tree.

She snuck into Dan's room and woke him up with a big pounce. Typical Tabby.

And of course, she found out that Dan wasn't sleeping alone.

Dan and Tabby at the tree. Dan loves his "baby sis" and is very protective of her.

It's amazing how she can make something so good out of a bad situation. The way she fumbled through the lights and got tangled up in them for the longest time was priceless. Typical Tabby. Very typical Michael. It was freezing out there all day long. It never got above 30 degrees so we didn't get as much done as we wanted. We had to keep running in the house to warm up. :Cold-Scared :Cold-Scared :Cold-Scared

Then Dan worked on her car for her for a while. It runs pretty good now!

I am hoping it will warm up tomorrow! We still have about 40 more strands of lights to go.

It is so wonderful to hear the joy in your voice again -- take baby steps My Friend, baby steps. Perhaps Tabby can become part of your new family traditions, she certainly seems to be a wonderful girl - God works in very mysterious ways.

Love surrounds you, let yourself feel it.

Im glad you are all still so close. Im sure it's nice to have another woman to talk to who also loved Michael dearly. As far as Dan is concerned, Ask him if Amy likes to sprawl out in the middle of the bed with all 4 legs stretched straight out. My German Shepherd Nenya likes to do that to me, and she has pushed me off my own bed a time or two

You should be a very proud mother, you raised two handsome, hard working boys(Keep in mind this is comming from a 19 yr. old girl, I know handsome when I see it)
