Our first foal has arrived!!!, she was actually born on Wednesday evening, but I have been afraid I would jinx myself by being too excited. She tested just about everything I had been reading and studying for - she was a redbag and a very tight delivery, but we made it - our vet was on the phone walking us through, and came to see her after - all is well so far - do have corneal abrasions, but are treating them and they are beginning to look better. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how - she is a darling little solid white with smokey black? medicine hat and black tip on her tail - almost identical to her mom.

Sire is Ericas Oohzz and Ahhzz and Dam is Windriders GLitz and Radiance.

Thanks to Charlotte of Reflections for her encouragement over the past few weeks when I called and bugged her and Vickie of Rocking M for her help after baby got here -

I can't wait to see pics - I upload mine to Photobucket then copy the code to my post.

Congratulations on your filly and I cannot wait to see her!!! We own several paternal siblings to your baby's sire, as well as Bandito grandget, and love them very much

Congratulations on a successful delivery despite the issues. I'm so glad to see that everything turned out well. I'm so nervous about my upcoming foaling season - I read so many heartaches on here that I'm doubly nervous. Thanks for posting that even with the disadvantage - the foal and mare are doing well. I'm sure it was quite scary for you - job well done!

Anxious to see pictures ~

She is doing well, getting frisky and eyes look better, thanks so much for the encouraging words, it was VERY nervewracking during delivery and for the next few days, but she is precious and worth every bt of it!

Every successful red bag is a miracle birth. Without your having been there you would have lost her. She was certainly worth all the anxiety!

Great tovero markings!

They always have swollen eyes after a red bag.

Have these started to subside?

She's Adorable! Congrats!
