It was a very hard choice for Ashley is has always had very long hair.

Skylar wanted to donate as well, because when we got custody of her she didn't have hair(because my brother shaved it all off)

Ashley and Skylar feel great about helping someone else in need.

thanks you all.

Its hard to get people to donate hair these days, because SO many people die there hair, and they need untreated hair.

My mom is a hair stylist, and she hardly gets any more people wanting to donate because everyone has treated hair...so it is great that your girls could do that! Way to go :D

Good jobs girl!!

You can always grow yours out again and you both look cute in your new cuts!!

I used to have long hair but now I wear it in a short bob ,about chin length and I LOVE it! So easy to take care of...

WAY TO GO to both Ashley and Skylar!!!!!

And I wanted to add that (at least who I donate to) accepts colored or permed hair but not highlighted or bleached.

I also wanted to add alittle more info for anyone considering:

Gray hair will be accepted and sold to offset the manufacturing costs.

If you don't grow your hair the min 10 inches for it to go to cancer patients

They also accept Shorter hair will be separated from the ponytails and sold to offset the manufacturing costs. Although the shorter hair cannot be used in the hairpieces, it still greatly helps to reduce costs.

How many ponytails does it take to make one hairpiece?

Six to 10 donated ponytails go into one hairpiece

Retail cost of the hairpieces?

Between $3,500 and $6,000

Again Ashley and Skylar WAY TO GO
