Pet allergies

What are some signs of dog/horse allergies?

I'm sure it probably is different for each person as to what triggers a reaction.

I'm pretty good with my own animals as long as they don't lick me or get near my eyes.

I'm not good with strange animals.

I get red itchy eyes, hives, my sinuses start running, my lips swell and breathing

gets rattly.

Sometimes I get one reaction sometimes all of them at once.

Do you think you're developing allergies to your critters?

What's with this - I have the same trigger - I always thought I was weird

: I can love on my dogs but anyone elses tends to make me react more and I also break out in a rash if I touch certain dogs. Cats, rabbits,rodent type beasts... Can't get near them. - (I get sneezy, snotty and watery eyes)

Weather has been SO weird here lately I am having major allergy probs and I think I am developing one to hay

My mother is allergic to every thing under the sun so it wouldnt suprize me if im end up allergic to some.

I am sick now as well but do feel part of it is allergies. I know when im clipping or grooming the horses my nose runs non stop.

I went to a friends yesterday and she has seven dogs in her house. I didnt stop sneezing most of the day and night when I got back home. My eyes dont bother me, but my throat gets really sore.
