TRAVEL CHANNEL SHOWED MORE TIME ON THE PETITE ELITE AND TALKED ABOUT MINIATURES AS THEY WENT BY. READ ON THE OTHER THREAD THEY ARE LIKE #47 IN THE PARADE. WE WATCHED THE OTHER CHANNELS AND NEVER SEEN THEM, BUT WE CHANGED TO THE TRAVEL CHANNEL COVERAGE AND THEY WERE ON.

Sandy,

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check the travel channel. We watched on HGTV, but I had to go feed; so hubby threw in a tape... It only recorded 30 minutes and then something went wrong, so we only got about to the Buffalo Soldiers, then it crapped out.

They weren't on NBC at all. That bunch of duffusses cut things out to advertise and then cut the parade off before the end.

I caught the group on HGTV. Of course they were only on screen for about 30 seconds but then most of the groups were only covered quickly to get the whole parade in 2 hours and it was Home and Garden so the coverage was slanted toward the flowers. I did notice that at least one horse group with 5 or so people got skipped over (except for the high shot of them rounding the corner) and the only horses that got much coverage had celebraties with them.

HG did read the information given them and emphasised that the group was Miniature Horses not ponies.

Wish I'd know that it was on the Travel channel.

I watched it on the Travel Channel, and again when they aired the Encore presentation. I thought they did a good job on their discussion about them, and emphasizing that they were indeed miniatures, not ponys or dwarfs. We had a great looking bunch out there! I was so proud! :~)

I thought Bob Eubanks did a wonderful job of explaining these were miniature horses.

He also went into a little of the history of the mini's working in the mines. Thankfully,

he emphasized these were miniature horses, not pony's or dwarfs.

I also saw it on the travel channel...
