Photo Edit Question

I am wondering if it is at all possible to, or if someone out there knows how to edit this photo and take the halter/lead rope off? I have seen it done before, but no idea how to. Any insight would help! Thank you!

WOW!!! You would never know the person / halter and lead where ever there. Any tips / tricks you want to share? I have several show pics I would like to do something very similar to.

I used Corel Paint shop. The clone brush is the trick. It helps when you have a background that is textured (like dirt or brick or something that can be copied easily without seeing that you copied it.) That was done pretty quickly. If you zoom in, and take a lot of time, you can get it even more accurate.
