My mom was here for the holiday. She sent me some very nice pictures. One of them is a wonderful one of my Missy. I scanned it in the scanner to my paperport but I can't get it to go anywhere so's I can show y'all or send it to Mindy for my website  . Would anyone care to advise this old lady on how to do this?

When I scan in a picture my graphics program (either Adobe Photo Shop or Adlus Photo Syler) pops up and I trim it and save it in a photo format as a .jpg or a .tif or a .bmp. Then just use it as a picture file...upload to Photo Bucket to use on the net. Hope that helps.

This is what I was thinking, but couldn't have said it as well.

If your graphics program doesn't pop up when you scan it in. Start in the graphics progam and go to the scan command to scan it in, then save it as a photo.

gosh Deb, wish I could help you

Haven't used a paperport in 4 years or so --- but from what I can remember..

there is software you use with paperport that does the scanning -- and that software stores the images in its software -- you have to open up the software and its folder (displayed by the software from paperport) and then click on the item you scanned --- then you can EXPORT the image as a .gif or .jpg or whatever -- and put it in a FOLDER on your c: drive -- then you have something you can upload to a website - once it is on a website you can then link to it to display in Lil Beginnings.

Sorry -- again, I dont' have the paperport or the old computer or the software -- so I can't tell you the names of the things involved here.

Hope that is somewhat useful.
