Prayers for Connie Parr/Daughter in accident

Im a huge believer in prayer and wanted to start a prayer/good thoughts thread for Connie. Her daughter was in a very bad car accident. She has a dislocated hip and numerous cuts etc.

My daughter was in a very serious car accident early Thanksgiving morning. She dislocated her right hip and fractured her nose and cut her bottom lip in half. Bruised from head to toe. We have to see the orthopedic specialist today. I am praying that she doesn't need a total hip replacement. When I spoke with the doctor at the hospital the big concern is that her hip was dislocated for so many hours that she might get what is called osteonecrosis. If this happens she will have to have a total hip replacement. It will be awhile before she is up and around again, but I want to thank you all very much for all the emails I received during this difficult time.

We will also see a specialist about her nasal fracture and she may need some plastic surgery on that lip. I have thanked GOD every single minute since this happened that we still have her. She is only 22 years old and has a two year old son that needs her. The sheriff told my husband at the scene of the accident that if they would have hit just two inches over the truck would have wrapped around the pole and she would not be here.

Please know my thoughts & prayers are with you and your daughter..... sorry, I just read this thread today, I have been away for awhile..........

I hope all is going well & your daughter is well on the way to recovery.....I just read your update & hope that she doesn't have to do a full hip replacement.....on the bright side she is young, so should recover faster than an older person (ok, namely me).......
