Just want to send prayers for all Oklahoma and midwest people who are in the middle of the ice storm we had one back in 98 and were without power for 17 days and it was devastating for many so praying all of you and your animals are safe and can weather the storm with minor hardship please check in when you can.

Me too having just been through the Northwest mess, I am hoping they are all ok. Got my power back just in time to hear about it and already checked in with my pal in Missouri, she's fine power was only out for about 8 hours and it didn't sound like she was hit with as much ice.

hope all are safe and sound.

I'm at work today, first day this week. I'm in OK and it has been one nasty mess. Stated Sunday night and by Tuesday morning we had 3/4" to 1" of ice on all the trees. Rained all day Tuesday and that just added to the problem.

I've lost a ton of tree limbs, but luckily none have hit structures--several near misses though--had put all the horses into the main pasture area away from any trees or fence lines that had trees. Power is out to over 1 million here in OK and my Rural Electric Co-Op who is usually very quick at getting power back on says it could be another 3-4 day for me and I've been down for 2 days already.

Just worried about water for the horses. I have a small fireplace that keeps the living room warm and a propane camp stove to cook on as well as a propane lantern also have a battery operated lantern so at least can read after it gets dark.

Everyone that I've talked to is doing OK but have not talked with Becky (Redrock) or Charlotte (Reflection). Hope everyone stays safe.

They are forcasting flurries today but temp is supposed to stay above freezing but to batton down for round two this Friday and Saturday for a potential of 2-6" of SNOW.

It's going to take a bunch of folks with chain saws to get my place cleaned up--only nice thing--lots of firewood for next year.

I am keeping you all in my thoughts.

I was so happy to hear that REO is ok, even though they have suffered some damage.

Everyone check in when you can, it sure is awful to be without power, especially when it is so cold.
