Prayers needed for Bruce Abbott

Next to my husband, Bruce is the most important man in my life. He is a mentor and a friend that I cant do without! He found out today that he needs to have open heart surgery to repair a valve that popped off sometime in the past two weeks.... probably while he was at Lennies show. He doesnt recall feeling any different but his heart is full of backwashed blood right now. He is having a heart catherization next monday and the surgery next week. They are hoping to do the Davinci procedure with the robotic arms but they may have to crack his chest. Needless to say he will be out of comission for a while. Please pray for God to guide the surgeons hands and keep Bruce in His hands and heal him.....the world would not be the same without him!

He will be out of commission for 8 weeks. My dad had 4 stints put in. They hurt. I wish him the best of luck. The stint my dad had killed his bowel and he had emergency surgery.

I only met Bruce at one of the DE shows 2 years ago, but even so, he made an impression on me and he actually helped me out with a couple things in that short amount of time. He went out of his way to be helpful and nice and I like him so much. He is absolutely in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello Lyn:

Scott talked to Jan this afternoon and she never mentioned about the problem occurring, she said that he was outside working horses. We have been talking to him quite a bit lately about Sweet, the buckskin filly that we are purchasing from him and said about seeing Encore Chaps in NY. I will have Bruce in my prayers as well for him to recover and we both look up to him for everything, he has done so much for us here at Coventry Lane and its being more than a trainer but a very good friend indeed. I don't know what we would do without Uncle Bruce to really get after us when we mess up in a class....and he does do that!
