I am now 38.5 weeks along - only a week and a half to go!

I am done work now, but staying very busy between social commitments, appointments, running errands, calving, etc. I also have to get our club's newsletter done, I hope to do that this weekend.

I had my 38 week appointment on Wednesday and everything was good except my blood pressure, which was 145/90. So, I had to go back in today and if it was still high, the doctor was going to put me on medication. Well, I don't like that idea much, so I took it easy the last couple of days and today my blood pressure was 130/72, which is very good.

Mostly I'm just sick of being pregnant and really wanting to have this kid already. Everything is ready for her arrival!

Oh, and she is again nameless. We're debating names again.

Jenn,

Do you have one of those "Baby Name Books"? Between that and perhaps a family name it can help.

I figured you were still pregnant, *LOL* Poor girl, I am sure you are more than ready to be cuddling that little cutie and I have the feeling that once you spend a few minutes or hours in her presence, you will know her name.

Colton took us four days, hee hee!

He was very nearly a Chase Allen McMaster, but instead he's Colton Douglass McMaster.

I'm so looking forward to hearing about your girl and I just know you are going to do a great job w/your labor and delivery.

Stay well and take care of yourself,

(oh and get LOTS of sleep),

Ooh Jenn! I've been thinking about you. Try and relax and rest. I can't wait to hear the news you've had her and see photos! Best of luck!

You're making a wreck outta me!

Would you please just stop and SIT DOWN!!!!!!!!! And what did I tell you about SALT and keeping your feet up! Lay off the salt! And calving.....oh my stars and garders girl. Do I have to come up there and tie you to a bed??????????? Now my blood pressure is up!

Michael was supposed to be Stephanie. Stevie for short.

Daniel was supposed to be Spencer or Nathanial.

Go figure.

Good luck Jenn l hope things go smoothly for you and the :517: :517: :517: sorry only one :517:

Poor Jenn, even Mia was late. That little girl will come when she's darn well good and ready, and not before

Best of luck!! Brings back memories for me too. Just sitting there holding the baby and trying to comprehend that she actually DID come out of you. The miracle of the fact that this totally perfect little person was made from the love you and your hubby have for each other. Just the absolute perfectness of those ten tiny fingers and toes, that tiny little hiney...and on and on......

You should be resting now. My daughter has 2 1/2 weeks left to go. Like I told her the first time, "rest now, because you won't get any the rest of your life". It doesn't stop at 18.

It's the most wonderful time being a Mom. It changes your very being, its awesome. Enjoy it.
