I attended the local monthly horse auction this weekend and truly realized how horrible the market is.
There were a few minis, none that sold over $100. There was a super cute Del Terras-bred appaloosa stallion, 8 yrs old. Gorgeous coloring. No sale.
Also, a full-sized sorrel paint mare ridden in by a teenage girl. The horse looked super broke, kid safe and in great condition. Had professional training and used for 4H... sold for $175
Most horses were being sold for financial reasons.
