Do I enter the mare's name, or when I enter the produce put the class number there?? We want to try this class at our Area AMHR show in June.

Hi Lucy! It was great meeting you and Forest this weekend! For Produce of Dam you make the entry under the Dam's name even though she won't be there. You need 2 offspring.

This would be one I wouldn't mind entering either. Would it matter that one is a yearling and the other a weanling? Otherwise, they look a lot alike!

In both produce of dam and get of sire , the judges are looking for consistancy of type in the ofspring, not necessarily the same color but the same type.

THANKS!!

We have a yearling and a 2YO that look exceedingly alike.... :aktion033: so much so we are keeping them to show as a team in a few years! Both are sorrel pintos!

Good luck with your team! I can't drive one horse much less two.

I believe it doesn't matter what the ages are on the offspring, just so their mom is the same mare. Good luck, Lucy!! I love produce of dam and get of sire classes. To participate or to watch is fun. :aktion033:
