Hooper - My son named him that when he was little and was into Super heros- he'd say hooper instead of super- the name stuck!

He'll be showing him in 4-H for the first time this year!

He sure doesn't look like much a show pony right now he's dirty and fuzzy!

And here he is again with his barn buddy, my 26yr old QH!

It's soooo cold we can wait for spring!! But the horses seem to be handling it ok.

We'd like to get a rolled leather Russet colored halter for him or a western type halter anyone have any suggestions?

I haven't been able to find a red color (russet?) rolled leather halter online for sale, has anyone else?

When the weather ever breaks I'm going to go to Amish country and see about getting one made, Hopefully!

They are both very handsome horses, your son is going to kick butt in 4H. Hopefully i can make it out to one of your 4H shows. :lol: :lol:

Thanks for all the nice comments!! We're really looking forward to spring and doing a little showing! I sure hope my son enjoys it as much as I did when I was his age.

I hope to see this forum become a little more active. I read alot about showing on the mini horse forum but not much here, I have enough questions I plan to change that,,lol.
