Hi All,

OK have a friend that is looking for land in the Rainier/Gobel area.

Can anyone give her any good contacts that will deal fairly with women

I've got an offer on some property in the Goble/Rainier area...since you're up that way, I was wondering if you could recommend anybody for the following:

Septic Installer

Well Driller

Surveyor

Excavator (or a friend with a backhoe)

Electrician.

My very good friend who now has a tow company used to be an electrician, so maybe I can ask him. He's in the Knappa area, though.

We had a house in Goble (Nicolai Cutoff Road just up from the Goble Tavern (there isn't anything IN Goebel except that, oh, and a boat ramp. *LOL*).

It was in 1990, though, and most of our good contacts are in this area. We have some very good friends that also do carpet and flooring/tile, etc., again they are here in Astoria. We have a contractor friend that does much of what you describe, also, but he's based out of here. His name is Robert Martens (that is also his company name), but I don't know if he's licensed in Columbia County. He would treat her fairly.

Anyway, I know what you're up against, as it stinks to be discriminated against. I get treated that way at our local Ford dealership. I KNOW a bit more about vehicles than your average female, and when they start giving me crap, I pretty much just walk out and sic one of my "guys" on them, to get what I want/need out of 'em. Sucks, but it seems to be that way.

You used to live not very far from me!! Go up to Orr Rd then to Highland.

It might get to the point she will have to look out of area.
