You know the comercial where one person does something kind for another and then that person does the same....well..... we are doing that here in Richmond. Remember when I lost my two mares and their foals and Ginny St Pierre gave me back Savannah? I have the opportunity to pass on some love because of her gift of love. Savannah gave birth to our little Drummer Boy on 4th of July. Prior to that she had refered Janet to us to visit when Janet had e mailed her about something elses. Janet is retired, lives alone with her cat and suffers from chronic pain and poor circulation. She has a wonderful heart and she had been coming out to visit my horses, grooming and walking the ones that I trusted to be good ( you know how that can be) lol. Anyway, Janet was anxiously waiting to see Savannahs baby. When he finally arrived she was the first to visit and has been coming several times a week since. She would sit in the stall on a stool until I told her she could take them both out to the yard for a visit. She was thrilled that Drummer wanted to be so affectionate for her and tried to get in her lap! He really loves her and her visits. She thought he would be great to take to the nursing homes and childrens hospitals when he is better behaved that is. He is still unpredictable with the nipping and kicking but he is just being a baby. After all he is only 3 weeks old. I told her that we would get him gelded for her and that she could keep him here if she wanted to have him to do the visits with. It looks like Drummer is going to have a new momma not just a best friend. Here are some pics from todays visit. I love seeing him make her so happy. She said that she comes before going to her swimming exercises and that since coming here to be with the horses and Drummer in particular she is almost pain free! So Ginnys act of kindness and love has now spread to another person who is very likely to spread it even further in the future! God bless you Ginny!
