I have found that our horses, especially the show horses, look their best when I feed Purina Enrich 32 (Born to Win) along with beet pulp and orchard/alfalfa hay. The problem is that I am feeding 20 horses, have virtually no pasture currently (we are in the process of replanting after having removed pine trees), and am therefore unable to afford the $25/bag cost for the Enrich 32. Do any of you use a product that would be available in Florida that you feel is comparable to Enrich 32 but does not cost $25/bag? We are currently feeding strategy but I am finding that the horses are getting fat very easily unless I greatly reduce the amount. When I reduce it this much I worry about the nutritional benefit. Yes, now that it is cooler we will resume round penning most of the horses as well.
