Really windy!

The wind here in uk has been gathering for a few days, but tonight it is ridiculous. A friends parents have had to evacuate their house to a hotel, which was then evacuated! They have found shelter in another hotel i believe but the damage to their house is extensive. Its very windy here, lots of debris about and my windows are rattling lol

Feels like the wizard of oz.

Windy here also the last two days! I put my horses' fly masks on them yesterday. Dry grass and debris flying around. It's also been very cold.

This weather has been wacky. Schools have been closed for the week. Probably gonna be next week as well.

I saw a plane was blown off the runway in Scotland. Now I can assure folks that Oklahoma doesn't have the market cornered on wind. I'm relieved to see it blows somewhere else as well.

Yes the windy has been horrendous over here, mostly accompanied by lashing rain which doesn't help! No damage here yet thank goodness, just a few loose items getting blown about - dustbins, plant tubs etc - and luckily we dont flood being that we are some 800' up, but we do catch the wind! I gather this crazy weather is hitting us all over the world in different ways.

It went from 39 degrees Celsius one day, severe bushfires within 10ks of me , to 14 degrees Celsius the next day with storms and raining......

I live in a part of the country that is well known for having all seasons of weather on the one day, but this is just Crazy
