I sent my donation in honor of my rescued horse, Rhett, who passed away on Oct. 5th at the age of 30. He was a handsome Appendix QH that I rescued 5 years ago from horrific conditions. He fought his way back from the brink of death and gave us 5 wonderful years of companionship and unconditional love. He was a special horse and we miss him dearly. Thank you CMHR for all the selfless work you do that makes a difference to both horses and humans!

Wanted to let everyone know as of yesterdays mail we have donations of $501.00. We are $499.00 away from Heidi's goal of $1000.00 that she will match $ for $. Every dollar counts where the rescues are concerned.

As an example we just received a vet bill this morning for $237.85 and a Transport bill of $432.00 for a total of $669.80. This was paid today but this is just an example of where your donations go.

Like Heidi says, every dollar adds up and CMHR thanks each and every one of you for helping these horses. We couldn't do it without your help!

As of now we have 9 horses in and are in the process of getting them posted on the web page http://www.chancesminihorserescue.org. As soon as the others pictures are to us they will also be posted. There are 2 up there now. When you go to the web page please visit our sales barn. You can get to it by the link in the left column. In addition to the halters for the holiday we have other designs we are working to get up there and also dog, cat leashes and collars that match. Keep checking back!!

We have reduced the membership fee in half until the end of the year. You only pay $12.50.

O.K. Guys we are 1/2 way to our goal......with only 3 days to go and 9 horses to help out....gotta check w/Gini but I have something else in mind to help reach our $1000.00 goal. Hey, lets kick it up a notch.....Go to the Chances Barn.....order a cool Chances T.Shirt, a neat new design Halter or any thing else and for every thing you order until the 5th of Nov we have someone ( an elf, I think ) that will donate 2.00 directly to Chances. How cool is that.

example: you buy a shirt and a halter and presto !! a secret elf will donate 4.00 directly to Chances ( 2.00 for each item )

So now Chances gets a double whammy.......its sort of like getting ( giving ) your bonus points to Chances and all you have to do is shop

I dont know about you guys but I know the secret santa box I send out will have at least 1 Chances gift in the box!!
