round bale holders??

I just took horse fencing cut to the length I needed and wrapped it around my bales so far so good and it has slowed them down. wondering how long bales should last in regards to eating it.

TP was this field fence or actual horse fence (horse fence having much smaller I think 2" x 4" spacing). Again I would so worry about them getting legs stuck in it....probably over cautious but seems horses can get hurt on anything or nothing all the time!! I so hate losing probably 20% of each roundbale though to waste!

hate field fencing no its the 2x4 pretty small and I keep an eye on everything in case any problems
