You guys take too long to get here. Sharon and I have been in Elma at the Fairgrounds since Sunday afternoon. We were at a dog show in Chehalis and it would have been a waste of time to drive back to Salem and then back up here. Hurry up you guys!

So have you guys dined at The Rusty Tractor yet? Sad but can't come to the show. No reason to really I don't have any horses below 34" although I sure enjoyed meetin Dorothy Whiteman last week and seeing my girl Duckie who's there for training. Its a very pretty area. Sure seems like there is a lot to discover there if someone had the time. Noticed some really old buildings while driving thru the small towns before getting there.

Geez Mark and Sharon! Hope you are all rested up,,,, you will need to be to keep up with Susie and Nickie!!!!!

Can't wait,,,, really really can't wait!!!!!

Okay, honestly, I've asked four different places from FB to here.

Somebody?

Sometimes. Don't count on it. And the hose is up high,(if there is one there) you will need a Y- hose because the hot and cold faucets are seperate. Sometimes people who are stalled by there put there carts in there so no one else can use the water.

It's a beautiful area for sure .... didn't realize it till we became residents.

Rusty Tractor is one of our fav places to eat. Everyone is so friendly there.

Does anyone happen to know what time the stallion classes might be, Friday?

We're hoping to run up, either before or after feeding time, to be an observer.

Does anyone know if the clipper man will be there?

O believe me if there was any way Nic & I could get there earlier...we would.

And I checked with Jessica (toms sharpening service) ..she will be at show but he wont.

(we send our blades back with her and they ship them to use very quickly all sharp and ready for next show)

Lets see ...Nickie has been counting down days ...want to bet that goes to hours tonight?

And if we need that hot water rack carts have wheels......evil chuckle

Leia,

There used to be hot water, but I'm doubtful that it is there anymore. I looked for the hose "yoke" that used to moderate the water heat and didn't see it and all the tanks that were in the barn are now gone. If you want hot, you'll have to bathe at home, I'm afraid.

Don't let that slow you down though...

As of this minute its 35 hours.....started that countdown about three hours ago. Considering I have to work for 13 hours tomorrow and then we have a 7 hour drive, that doesn't leave much time for getting ready. Glad to have a wonderful Mom and great friends.....and a VERY understanding boyfriend.

I have to say that I am super excited, this is going to be the first show that my mare "Shalamara Acres Shamiko" and I will be in together, I have very high hopes for her. Along with that, I just got updated pics of my new gelding "Vintage Farms Romantic Rumba". He will be showing this weekend and I will be bringing him home from there. Can we say slightly nervracking!!!!! I just want it to be FRIDAY!

Yes, he's supposed to be. I talked to him earlier this week.

(You too, Kim.) Guess it's warm wet cloths from the public bathroom tomorrow and a lot of work with the blower.

I sure hope that doesn't mean no hot water in the showers either. Could make for an interesting weekend!

I know it isn't possible but I'm wishing everyone Blue Ribbons at the show

I can't wait to hear the results and what a great time everyone had.

Also a safe trip for all traveling to the show and a safe trip home.
