What a month! If I didn't have pictures, even I wouldn't believe it.
September 1st: Wonderful day! My daughter Gracie Lou was born.
September 13th: Not so great. A severe thunderstorm sent golfball- to softball- sized hailstones ripping through our little town, destroying any car or house window or siding facing north. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.(A couple of horses died, sadly, in the next town the storm hit.)
Before the storm:
After:
In my bedroom:
September 23th: Driving home with my son and daughter after preschool, a truck pulled in front of me suddenly after failing to stop at a stop sign. I couldn't stop in time and my little Chevy blazer was totalled (so was the other truck). None of us were hurt, thank the Lord!
That's it.
Well, the month could have gone a little better, but it could have been much worse. I'm happy it's over...and tomorrow is my son's 4th birthday.
