I'm only going to be watching it because I have a new friend that can't see it at his place. He is a near deaf boy that is going to starting coming out to work with the horses with me. He came out yesterday to meet everyone and saw our 55" TV. He asked "is that for the superbowl? Can I come watch?" His mom is bringing him out........it's OK.

I could care less about the Super Bowl but hubby will be watching in other room. I bought him earphones for christmas so I don't have to listen to it.

My husband is a huge football fan! Usually we have a Superbowl party but I'm working today(I'll get to see the kick-off probably) and Doug is in the RN program and has to "work-up" patients for clinical tomorrow.......so he decided he'd better not party! We have a 63" TV so we had a lot of friends asking if we were having a party this year. :bgrin Next year for sure!!

Ordered pizza and wings..have some peoples over.. and ill be sitting on my butt all night watching the superbowl, eating and on the laptop.. haha. talk about a lazy night eh? but ya gotta love it!!

Nope, not me....not a football fan, nor is anyone in this household....though we might as well, since the weather is too cruddy to do anything other than sit in front of the window and look at WHITE!!!!

We did watch hockey this afternoon though (and yesterday afternoon)....hockey, hockey, hockey!!!! :saludando:

I have it on, but am only paying attention to the commercials. Surfing the web and will be reading my book while they are playing.

Nope. Don't like sports, but especially pro-football, some college football is entertaining although I normally don't get whats going on. Hope I find a husband someday that doesn't care much for it either.

And I always felt the commercials thing was stupid, I hate how people go ga-ga over dumb commercials, i think its the adreneline (sp?) that makes people laugh at the not funny commercials.

Plus, any other time of the year people either flip channels or complain about commercials, but for this one night they WANT to see them?! So dumb, I think.

We are only watching because of the Bears...

and I always love the Bud commercials....but this year, so far, I am very disapointed in the commercials.

I don't watch and my husband was going to watch for the commercials as he doesn't care for football. He watched long enough for one commercial and that was it. Unfortunately, he turned it to the Simpsons so I einded up on the computer.
