SNOW....headed our way..

We are in a Winter Storm Warning for our area here in Western New York. We live near Lake Erie and we get what's called "Lake Effect" snow. We could get between one to two feet of snow from Thursday morning into Friday!!

Anyone else getting this stuff or got it already??!

Yep yep us too, we live between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario so we know all aobut that lovely lake effect snow!!!

Comin our way! I'm ready..bring it on. I've had enough of rain. It is such a treat to "look out the window" and see white in the trees and covering the ground. The minis love it. Time for cookin and bakin and good music and holiday spirit!

We're about 20 minutes from Lake Michigan..so YUP--know all about lake effect snow, got to LOVE this stuff..oh well, I think I will just look out the window and think to myself--gosh--no little brown poop piles to clean up, (at least none that I can see

) Just got thru watching Kenny C special and Faith Hill special.. Bob is in the kitchen making a cheescake for tomorrow. Gosh dang it--it sure is windy out there tonight, and suppose to get worst. We have a wind advisery for us and possible snowstorm..the UP of Michigan is getting it now,

dont want it!!! Stay warm

I wish we had some snow coming. Probably crazy to most but I just love the snow. That is part of the reason we moved to Central Oregon because "mom" likes the snow and when mom is happy, everyone's happy.

Well its starting here already! The winds have picked up and we've had some bands of snow come in that was really coming down hard but then let back up, but that is that great "Lake Effect" snow, you just never know where those "bands" are going to go! LOL But I think we are really in for it today.

CAM - You like snow?! Its ok, but I don't like alot of it like we get. Maybe you should move to Western New York?! LOL

I think I'm going to move to Tennessee with Marty for the winter!

Corinne - Hey...save a piece of that Cheesecake for me!! Yummy!

I awakened to a lovely picture outside my window of everything coverd in snow. A bit windy here but not too bad. We're expecting maybe 1-3". Bring it on. I'm all warm and toasty, house smells wonderful.

I'll say, and then some. I just drove back from Portland today in the blizzard and now they are getting it there as well. At least it covers up the frozen horse poo I haven't been able to pry up from the ground.

I have waited 3 weeks to get the lambs to the market and they go tomorrow....the only thing that might change that would be....SNOW
