I concur! You are lucky.

I just moved to Houston last winter. There was a pathetic little snowfall one day and everyone here was making a huge deal out of it. That's when I knew I had made a mistake.

I wish it would snow here. I have been waiting forever.

I do so like watching the news when the southern states get a little snow. They go crazy and cant handle driveing in it. I often wonder what they would do up here?

You can keep it! Although I love the changing seasons and I do love snow...winter is just too dang long! No snow here yet (thank heavens - I've got tons of work to do to get ready for winter) We have had a couple good frosts so I am looking forward to my allergies getting better, but that's about it.

Yes I wish it would also snow here I am ready for it..Got the snowblower all waxed up oil changed, greased and raring to go into action. Got my place all insulated up for the cold North winds, Come on I am waiting

I cant work my hors ein the snow well i can but its freezng and icky!!

Well I guess that wouldnt bother me, my horses are pets and are "off" most of the time. I didnt work any at all last summer, but then agian my show horse stays trim on his own. But now next year, I have a fatty that must lose weight even if I dont show him.

I agree with you Ashley, Even when I was showing. I sure did not do anything through the winter months..Did need to and want to

And now when I do get a mini again it will be just for a pet so sure is no need to do further training through the winter months..And I guess that is why i housebreak them so in the winter time I can bring them in and continue to be close to them and further their training that way.

I just don't like the cold, at all!

I LOVE snow, but being in central TX we dont get it all that often LOL And no, its not because I havent been in it enough LOL Grew up in CT, when it actually snowed a lot LOL and since I was the tomboy I got stuck shoveling from an early age. I truly miss it and am all stocked up waiting on some nice COLD weather. So BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!

Yes I agree...Even when I lived in Tempe, AZ. for 10 and even at that I moved Back to Western Wisc.~! Even though i had some of the best winter weather in AZ. The winters are not that bad compared to a major metro area of PHX. Cleaner air, better quality of live living in a small town mid America. Even if it means a few days of 20 below Zero. And Snow on the gorund for a few months out of the year.
