At least they are giving her away, unfortuantly its a little too late with her condition. Hopefully someone will get her fast.

It's a bad situation thats for sure.
 
It really is sad. As an animal cruelty investigator I see this all the time. The sad part is that most of the time "free" horses are taken in by people who don't know anything about horses. They think that they can just tie them in their yard on a long rope and let them eat grass...so in a few months when they start getting underweight I get called in. In those cases, very seldom are the people willing to spend money having their "free" horse vetted/seen by a farrier/ teeth floated/ etc.

We don't have one here, but if there is an ASPCA in OK they will pick up the horse and have it vetted and taken care of.
