I have yet to hear Obama actually speak at length with an affected Southern drawl... if he says y'all once in a while - so do I - and I do not have a Southern accent. It's just obvious that for some, he will never be able to do or say anything right.

That's fine - just their vehement opinion.

I may not care for Sarah Palin - but I do not find fault with everything she has said or done. Or may say or may do. IMO she carries the youbetchas and Joe Sixpacks and cutesy winks too far... I may find it a bit grating but it plays well to the crowds who like her. All politicians play to their audience to some degree... *shrug* ... so I guess that finding fault with one for it and yet excusing it in others is a bit of a puzzle for me... JMO. YMMV.
