Some Winter Wonderland Horsey Pictures

It's been downright cold here in Ohio for a couple weeks now....with lots of snow. OK....snow's nice for a little while, but can we have some warmer weather for a while?

Well....woke up to a winter wonderland with frost covering everything this morning. So, I just may have to change my mind. It was absolutely breathtaking today! Put on extra clothes & took some photos of the horses. THEN....John & I went driving thru the country to take scenic shots.

(yes, we still have Panda...but he is 11 years old & prefers to lay on his nice deep straw bed in the barn)











Yes....they are bestest buddies.

Here are some of our Minis (Apache & his girls!) playing in the snow.





And here are some of our little Dwarf "Button". She almost gets lost in the snow when she runs into the deep areas. We've had 7" in the last few days & it's a couple feet deep in some places where it's drifted. She & Barney love playing together too.

Great pictures Dona.....but where in the world is Cherokee's heavy winter coat? Those first few pictures don't look at all like the fuzzy coats on mine.

Well...it may not look it....but it's a lot thicker than his summer coat. Of course, it's not NEARLY as long as the wooley mammoth coats my miniatures have! LOL
