Boy, you read my mind! I think that I will own stock in SEVERAL sunscreen companies before his showing days are over! LOL!

: To answer your question on his showing, he obviously will stay until he is weaned, but the plans are to pick him up at Nationals... and maybe show him there if Erica, Janie and I think he made the trip and adjusted well. He MIGHT go to a show before then, but we will have to wait and see. Babies can be so hard to haul... but at least he won't have to go all the way to Oklahoma from California and back like Bob did.. (whom I am ALSO hoping to see at Nationals this year... :bgrin ) Just want the best for our new "little man" and need to make sure that he has every advantage to be the top competitor I think he is....

Janie and I want to thank everyone for their lovely comments on this colt... (Janie has been feeling a little under the weather but should be posting a response today...) and hope to have a chance to meet a lot of you at Nationals this year!

What a great feeling it is to own such a special boy!! I would really like to thank Erica for allowing me to purchase "Big City's" first baby. And what a baby this is! :new_shocked: I can hardly wait to see what else Big City is going to produce this year! If this colt is any indication, WOW!!! Now I am on the lookout for a "few good mares" for him, but, I have a little while before that happens, ha ha ha!!!

Congrats Suzy and Janie!! He is gorgeous!

Next will be MCC Feathers Silver Streak (Yellow Diamond Little Feather x an Egyptian King daughter) - this is DunIT mom and Ringo's mom - HOPING For a grullo filly, she is bred to Big City.

Then ADs I'll Make My Own Design (Love Me Tender gdaughter) Legz mom is due sometime soon after Silver she is bred to Big City as well, then Destiny's mom my Buck Echo daughter is bred to Bandito for a soon foal.........got several coming up

Bacon isn't due until May and she is looking wonderful, she is so happy and fat and pretty for a 20 yr old mare. She LOVES little Bucks, she will stand outside of Worthys stall and watch over him, she won't let Silver, Design or Echo even look at the baby or she runs them off. I am really excitied about her baby and hoping to get her in foal to Taker for 07!

A few pics of him out in his first snow today -

Congratulations on your purchase. He is a beautiful colt with lots of quality and I am sure you will have a lot of success with him!

Hey Erica..

He looks great.... and after this winter he probably won't have to worry about snow all that much, (it was about 73 degrees today and I was clipping... LOL!) he will just have to get use to bathing in sunscreen... (Janie laughed and said that we should get him that colored "snow" sunblock for him... this was my reaction... :new_shocked: LOL!) I love the "peachy pink" color that Perlinos have... and I am absolutely LOVING those legs... :bgrin And, don't worry Karla.. I am sure that we will get photos posted often of him..

Congratulations Suzy and Janie (and Erica - he's going to a super home!) - that is one awesome colt you'll have out here.

I guess you'll be keeping all of us on our toes next year in the show ring and what a great addition for dilute color.

I was talking to Aggie Grady about you today Suzy. (she mentioned you were making a trip to Ojai, but not why!) - it would have been nice to have had you at the seminar today. Your input, like Jim's is always so valuable!

Congrats again!
