Someone wanted to see one of my coverplates so here one is. This one was still sitting at the feedstore where I sell them. It didn't sell as well as some of the other ones. Maybe cause the foals ears are placed in a bad spot. I can make them from most any picture with a little editing. I paint the screw heads to match the picture as best I can.

What do you charge? I'd love to fill my new house with lightswitch covers of my little Cowboy! Can you make any size - single and double switches, or ??

You know what else would be cool, a little pulley for the end of a string when you have the lights that you have to "click on" and "click off" by pulling the string....

These are really nicely done. I've got one with Timmy's baby picture that Jo sent me when he was born. It's adorable.

Jo one of these days I'd like to order a couple with different horses on them but I think I'd need the double switch plate too. I'll have to go figure it all out and get back to you on that.

Very nice! In my past life before becoming a realtor, while being a stay at home mom, I used to make switchplate covers like that and sell them. I was always surprised at the fact I actually made money doing something fun and easy!!!

Glad you all liked them, I will anwser your questions this evening I have out of town family here right now.

You painted that on??? Or decoupaged it somehow??? Just beautiful.

I'd love to have a single switch one with Lotto on it some day!

Ok let's see if I can answer some of what you all asked.

Karla--- I wish I could paint like the pictures! The only part I paint is the screw heads to blend in with the pictures.

MiniHoofBeats--At the feed store, I sell them for $7.95 for single. I have never made a double but I don't see why I couldn't.

Marty--Thank you for the complements, and just let me know when you want some others.

Reo--I love the markings on Lotto and he would make a pretty cover plate.

I have been toying with the idea of selling these on the auction site, think I should go for it?

I don't think I am computer savvy enough to sell them on a site of my own.

After Christmas vacation is over and the kid is back in school I may make some up for the auction site and give that a try.

First I need to look up the people that gave me permission to take pictures off there sites of there horses and be sure its ok with them if I do this.
