So, if you get an email from me (txminiaturehorse) DON'T open it unless your name is in the subject. Some loser hacked my AOL account and spammed my address list. Just great.

So, I apologise in advance.

I did call AOL and ran a virus scan and changed a whole buncha things, hopefully this is over.

There is nothing more aggravating! last summer my hotmail account was hijacked. Someone got into it and changed the password so I couldn't even open it! Then they sent emails to everyone in my address book, pretending to be me, and saying I was stranded in London and my wallet and passport were stolen, and to please send me $500 so I could get home and I'd pay them back them.

Honestly, like any of my friends receiving that email would believe it! They know I'd never ask them for money, and they'd also know if I had gone to London!

May I ask how did you find out? A couple of weeks ago when I went to sign onto AOL, I received an error message that said, that it was in use by someone else and to close the program! Very confusing, so I restarted my computer and then was able to sign on.

The 100+ mail daermon returns in my inbox- with Viagra ads. And my friends emailing/calling me saying "didja know....?"

Did you change your password? If not, do that IMMEDIATELY!
