Those of you who know us....know we love our Dandy horses...especially me with my Rhotens Little Dandy son, NFCs Candy Dandy. Well...I've about turned this place into Dandyland! LOL Poor hubby Tim...tee hee.
Our engraving business is keeping me very busy and I no longer breed, foal or train. It's really cool because my work is the engraving, my love is my horses (and Tim..too). But I do love to show!
Last year Getitia bred her beautiful halter mare, Buckeye WCF Exotic Dancer (by FWF Little Wardance...multi-National Champion halter stallion and out of their Multi-National Champion Halter, Driving and Performance mare...CLes Magilla Gorilla) to our stallion, NFCs Candy Dandy, AMHA National Champion Driving Horse. Then the colt was featured in the center of the Buckeye WCF full page ad in the Journal....
For 6 months...I admired him and kept saying nope...dont need another horse...cutting back...got engraving work to do....then...Getitia...sent these pictures...UGH...drat, double-drat...my resistance was gone!
I had to have him...Tim agreed 100%...God love him!
Getitia had named him Noodle because he was born early and was wobbly at first. Les kept saying .. man that little sucker can trot....with so many gorgeous leggy shetlands in their breeding program...that was a comment that kept haunting me...I gotta see him, eh...lets be honest...I gotta have him! LOL
They hadnt registered him yet, so together we named him Buckeye WCF Tijuana Dandy....he's got rythem and soul...indeed a Dandy boy.
This is one of my favorite pics...TJ (Tijuana) meeting his sire Candy Dandy. TJ is 6 mo, Dandy is 15yrs old and they are out with Dandys look-alike son Dandy Walker who's a 5yr old gelding....the 3 amigos get along great....Dandy's so good with them.
I call this picture "I met my Pop today!"
Thanks for letting me share!
