Congratulations on your new filly, one recommendation, can you put some eye ointment in the eyes and lift the lashes, or maybe it is just the photos, you could use teramycin or what ever from the vet. Second is the name. My suggestions since she is sorrel is " Fireworks After Dark" for a barn name call her Ginger. Great looking filly, you should be proud!

Riverrose28 her eyes are fine. These photos were taken early morning and the barn was dark and I turned the lights on so she was blinking quite a bit. Her eyes are bright and clear, actually was just up playing with her. She was bucking and running around the stall. Also she is not a sorrel as her sire is a bay and her dam is a silver bay. She is a bay. Also as I said earlier I like to put the barn name in the registered name. I've actually bought horses that I changed their barn names to go with their registered named, except for my appaloosa stallion. His registered name is CN Kiss This and was called Kiss but I could not call a stallion Kiss. LOL So I took the K in kiss and the C from CN and switched them to KC, or Casey as I call him, much more stallion like. LOL
