A few of the things I've stuffed into stockings (age appropriate, of course):

Postage stamps

Small flashlight

Bic lighter

Scotch tape

Duct tape

Homemade cookies

Small pepper mill

Small Sea salt mill

Books

Make up

Address labels

Greeting cards

Favorite nuts or candy

My family just does stocking stuffers for each other. I buy things all year round as I come across some perfect item. We're not supposed to spend more than $3 per person and that makes it rather challenging .

An orange for the toe in a MUST.

Some packages of hand warmers (to stick in your mitts)

package of beef jerky

brain teaser puzzles

flashlight

cologne

hair gel

bungee cords - my hubby thinks you can never have too many bungee cords.

coupon/gift certificate for coffee/food

scratch tickets

regular deck of cards or card game such as Memory Match or Old Maid - age appropriate

small jar of jam or jelly

pocket knife

personalized mug

This year I found little packages of "Pocket Duct Tape" for the guys. A strip of duct tape with peel-off backing paper. So cool!!!

Ok now I have tell you this story!! Last night we went to K-Mart for some last minute gifts and they announced over the loud speaker that they had Reeses Peanutbutter cups for 20 cents at the service desk! I thought that would be good to add to the stockings! Hubby heads in that direction and I'm going to meet him up there in a few! NOTICE TO EVERYONE- NEVER SEND A PEANUTBUTTER CUP LOVER NEAR A SALE ON THEM!!!! ALONE!!!! He bought them all!

Yep.... now we have 32 packages of peanutbutter cups! They are the kind with 2 in them so now I know what EVERONE is getting in their stockings, tied on top of their gifts, tucked in that special pair of soxs, cramed in the new purse!

All wonderful ideas. I have to tell you don't do the fart in a can. It may backfire on you. Teehee. I gave my Granddaughter some and she pulled it out at the dinner table and used it.

I said Randy (son) that is not nice at the table. He denied it so we accused his wife. She was pretty embarrassed because she thought it was Randy. They then turned on me and we all had a good laugh, but it could be embarrassing depending on the situation.

Another time we were at Culvers. Mandy was about 3 at the time. I slide on the leather seat and it squeaked. Mandy piped up in her loudest, sweetest voice and said Grandma, You tooted. I said it was the seat and she repeated herself. I could not get her to stop. Everyone was looking at us and laughing. I was really embarrassed. It really was the seat.
