Strange Question?

I am very strange, just so you know!

I have 4 mini's. I have color'coordinated their stuff. Bucket, feeder, halter, lead rope. One is red, one is blue, one is green, and the last one is purple. I have found purple halters, lead ropes, and 8 qt flat back buckets in purple. I cannot find the 5 or 6 quart over the fence rectangle feeders. Those are the kind we use, and I cannot find them in purple!! My husband makes a bracket for them and we hang them in their stalls for their grain. I have them in a sort of cranberry or raspberry color from TSC, but not in purple! That stall doesn't match, and it drives me nuts!

Does anyone have any idea where I could find some of these?

Sorry I've tried many websites and the only colors I could find is blue, red, and green. Maybe you could contact the company that makes them and ask if they could make a custom color.

I have to match stuff like crazy around my barn too.

I used to work for the local feed store and did the ordering, so we got all the colors we wanted. [wife and I both have a little OCD.] Id try your local store and see if they will order them for you. if you are buying for that many horses Id think they would be tripping all over them selfs to keep your buisness.

I can relate... When I had just a few minis, they each had color coordinated stuff in their own color. Now that I have more than a few, they all have purple as their favorite color.

Last year, I found purple stuff for our show trailer and nearly lost my mind I was so tickled... I found a purple cooler, and purple rubermaid totes for the (purple) show sheets, etc. Already had purple folding chairs, table, trash can, etc. Purple Purple Purple.

Oh, so I think my solution is to get a few more minis, and then pick one color for all

Thank you for the suggestions! I did have everything in purple with my big horse, but it is so much harder to find all my mini stuff in purple!

I checked my TSC store, but they don't have them. They aren't very helpful either, so I doubt that they would be very happy about ordering them. I just don't like my local store! I prefer to go to one that is about 45 minutes away, but I can't get there very often because gas is crazy!

I definitely like the idea of getting more minis and making them all have purple as their color though! I will have to try that one out on my hubby! I'm sure he would be thrilled to build me more stalls! He will only build stalls for me as I buy horses, he won't build any in advance, because he is afraid I will fill them up too quickly! Duh! Of course I would!

Thanks again, and I will keep looking. If I find them somewhere, I will post on here so all my fellow purple lovers can get them too!

I always had to have everything match too....haybags had to match the feeders, which had to match the water buckets......lead ropes had to match the halters and all that had to match the blankets and hoods and tail wraps etc....you know....when you get busy showing and showing a bunch of horses....and your just so busy.... I just didn't care anymore.....as long as it was in excellent shape and fit them properly.... any color works for me.

I just don't have time to worry about that stuff.

Oh my, thank you so much for finding someone who sells them!!

I would prefer a darker purple, but at this stage, any shade of purple works for me! I think my buckets that I finally found were more this shade anyway, so these should work great!

I just love this forum! You people are always so helpful and always point me in the right direction!

Now I feel better about my stalls matching a bit better!

And, since I can still coordinate each stall separately, I won't have to fight Jill over purple! LOL!!
