WE HAVE REGULAR SALT BLOCKS AND THE TRACE MINERAL SALT BLOCKS OUT FOR EVERYONE, HAS ANY ONE EVER PUT OUT THE SULPHER SALT BLOCKS FOR MINIS. SOMEONE TOLD ME IT WAS GOOD FOR THOSE YUKKY EYES THEY SOMETIMES GET.

JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE USES THEM AND WANTING TO KNOW IF THEY ARE SAFE FOR MINIS OR EVEN HORSES.

Just did some researching on this and it appears that though here we were always under the assumption these were for cattle, that they are very good at keeping mosquitoes, gnats, etc.... at bay during the summer seasons!!!

I think I will give them a try!
 
Well my feedstore guy said that the sulfur might deter flies/mosquitos in some way.

So hey, I got the sulfur salt block.

I have not noticed any huge difference in the flies/mosquitos, but it certainly has not hurt the horses from what I can tell.
