I don't even know what to say about that poor little horse. I can't even imagine the pain she (?) must go through just trying to walk around. I don't think I've ever seen anything more sad.

Yep, I saw that a couple of days ago, and debated whether to post the website addy here...the original pic was so tiny, I couldn't really make out WHAT it showed, but knew it was something really odd...and it just made me SICK when I saw the enlarged version. Do you think the SITE should be chastised, for allowing this pitiful little creature to actually be advertised? How about the advertiser(who has ONLY a phone number, no email(and apparently, trying to sound all "warm and fuzzy"-a farm 'owned by a granddad and grandson' or some such phrase....I guess we aren't supposed to notice the what's in the photo!? Oh, and by the way, they are wanting to BUY miniatures/ponies!! Would YOU sell them one??

Just makes my blood boil!

Margo

I happen to know who posted this ad. That is NOT a horse of his, he actually found that picture on the net and got permission to use it. He is a 13 yr old boy who loves his mini's and would never breed one without a descent conformation. He has not even began to get into breeding yet.. they are just trying to get him a herd together (with the help of his mom and grandfather). I believe he just made a bad decision on the picture he used. He loves horses and knows more about them than most adults. If at any time I thought he EVER mistreated his horses or was in a bad situation with them.. I would definatly step in.

Ya'll please do not get over excited about this.. its just a child's bad decision. I am trying to contact him now to change it, but he is at church and can't be reached.

I cannot reply to that picture as what I would post here would just be removed. So I'll just post this...... :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

a very bad one for sure

one reason children shouldnt be given free reign on the internet

i am just speechless. somebody who is close and cares enough should buy this poor creature and promptly have her put out of her misery. i don't know if i should even SAY that here but LOOK at her.

I'm just wondering why he chose to use this picture. Definitely a poor choice, but if he was trying to get attention for his ad he succeeded. Not the RIGHT kind of attention, though.

I dont know what he was thinking either honestly.. BAD choice in my opinion too!!!!!! But as most children, they too have to live and learn!! But I assure you, its not his.. I do plan on finding out where he got the picture from!!

Someone sent that to me a week or so ago. That horse breaks my heart!

I knew it was not *that* horse for sale as it has the year as 1969 and the text is looking to buy. But I did feel bad for the horse who must be in pain (who ever owns it, it looks well cared for)

Seeing the poor horse is bad enough (for me) but if I had to see it try to walk..........

OK im not to bad at fixing problem feet and legs but even I wont touch that one

except to put it down

Oh my goodness!!! That just made me sick!! That poor baby. Child or not....that picture is just not right to put out there. I have a grandson who loves animals of all kinds and even at 11 he would have enough common sense and compassion to know that is not a picture to circulate for any reason.

Oh. Oh my.

Even if the kid posting the ad didn't have anything to do with the horse, whatever idiot did breed that thing deserves a good :deadhorse2:

: :new_2gunsfiring_v1: . poor mare, that's just awful.

There are no words to say...it is just so wrong. I feel so bad. This should wake some people up about breeding, if that dont nothing will. Corinne

I felt sick when I saw the picture, that poor horse must be in so much pain from her legs and joints. It would be a mercy to put her out of such misery. If the horse is not his then it is a good argument for not letting children have unsupervised access to the internet.

That is the most pathetic horse I have ever seen. I would never sell this kid a horse - if he is that stupid to post that kind of a picture he isn't worthy of owning a good horse - I am sorry but at 13 years old he should know that the horse in the picture is a pathetic, crippled little animal that needed to be humanely euthanized.
